"THE MOVE"
3/30/2006 01:26:00 午後

Well, "THE MOVE" is almost complete. House is losing its necessities already. No TV downstairs, no clocks... Our PCs go to the other house later tonight, along with me and Abby. We'll be sleeping there. Tomorrow is when they'll bring the bigger things like beds and stuff over via truck. After that, we're done.

Oh and congratulations to my sister, Abby, who graduated yesterday! I didn't go to the ceremony, though. It's true, what they say in graduation speeches. When you're a kid you think it's total crap. But when you think about it now, from a mature point of view, what they say about school having "molded your personality" or "shaping you up to be a better person" and other things like that, it's all true. Abby's much different now than when she began college, and in a good way. She's more self-confident. She can handle herself in different situations, even the stressful ones. I can say now that she's ready for a working environment because of that. Something I can't say of myself because I didn't go to college. And that's why I decided to start college this year. I think I may be too late for the first sem, but I can probably enter the next. We'll see how this all goes.

Watched this super-corny movie earlier this morning called Kung Phooey. It's similar to Kung Pow, in that it draws its humor from bad jokes heheh. But it doesn't quite match up to Kung Pow. I thought some of the jokes were spread too far and apart, that we're left with some humorless moments at times. But some of the jokes were pretty good heh. Like the Hong Kong actor guy. That was funny. I'd give it a 3/5 just for that.

Pritty AC Tifa Cosplayer. *_*

:( Well it's really hot these days (like around 33 celsius), even worse it always looks like it's going to rain but it doesn't quite. So it's humid like mad. It's the kind of thing that you wake up soaked in sweat, with steam from your evaporating sweat rising off your body. x_x

JZone/Soul Stop college camp is in 2 weeks. I'm pretty excited about it. Asked Mikko, Francis and Daryl to come. All of them have schedules but I'm still hoping something comes up and they get to come to the camp anyway. :D

We're moving out of this house soon (should be within the next week). After we complete the moving process, it'll be the 7th different house we've lived in, in the last 8 years. Let me break it down, just to show:

1998 = Caloocan
1999 = Fortune Village (forgot the district, but it's in Valenzuela)
1999 = Arty Subd., Valenzuela
2000 = Arty Subd., Valenzuela (different house)
2001 = Fairview, Q.C.
2004 = Bahay Toro, Congressional, Q.C.
2006 = Vista Verde (the one we're moving to)

The years may be inaccurate, but it's something like that. :D

Stayed at the mall last night for a bit after closing. I had enough time to sketch one of the mannequins on display at Bench (I forget if it's Bench). I'll try to finish the drawing and I'll scan and upload here.

B-boy news: doing shoulder stretches to be able to do inverted hollowbacks. :D It's going alright, but it made my shoulders sore the day after.

Alright so I hit a hole in one early this morning in Pangya; my first ever! Here's a screenshot.

Been raining a lot the last few days, including storm-like heavy rain that ended just an hour ago. Makes me even more nostalgic lol.

Not much else news, though...

LOST, etc.
3/07/2006 11:01:00 午後

Yesterday was the premiere in my country for the second season of LOST. All I can say is... good grief!

We found a big and beautiful house in the Sta. Lucia area for a low price (something like the owner needing to sell it fast or something). I think mom bought it already, and they're already fixing it up. Fix-ups will take a month and we can move then. Aside from that, we'll be 15 minutes away from Ortigas, and we're really close to the Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall. Oh and the best part is, we'll have broadband finally!

I've finally gotten consistent handstands now. I did 8-10 consecutive without falling over or going too low. I'm working now on my shoulder strength and flexibility, because when I do a bridge position, lift one of my legs and try to do push-ups, I feel like my left shoulder (the one I sprained then dislocated about a week after, both in September 2005), is going to pop out of place. But not in a bone-joint-can't-take-it kinda way. More like a muscles-can't-hold-it kinda way.

I gained a few pounds rofl... From eating too much last Sunday. So I had to look up some ways to get back in shape. The b-boy way of burning calories? Toprocking. :D Do it for 20 minutes a day.

Finally, I've started reading this book on dating called, "Dating Clues for the Clueless". It's written by Christians for Christians, so typically it's the Christian's perspective on dating. I got this book for Christmas over 2 years ago, but I only now read it (because I only really became a Christian last year, and I'd only now found the book again). It's really cool. It gives good advice on finding the right one, and doing it in a way that glorifies God. Even more importantly, it helps you strengthen your relationship with God by learning more about God's purposes and plans for your life. So I'll be reading this and hopefully it'll help me understand things I don't yet. :D
