I've decided to try learning
sign language as well, in conjunction with my Deutsch studies. The problem is, contrary to my initial ideas of it, sign language is different across the globe. That's sad. I thought before that I'd be able to travel the world and communicate with any deaf person once I learn "sign language". I was probably naive to think that, though, since obviously each country would've developed its own sign language throughout its own ages.
So I'm not sure if I should continue sign language studies. The American sign language is what I see being used most often, but sadly it's not even the same as the British sign language,
according to Wikipedia.
Oh well. I'll stick to my Deutsch studies for now.
